Personal Statement
I grew up in the town of Wainuiomata, a suburb of Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand. I am a self-taught computer systems and networking technician, with experience in various aspects of the field such as Windows desktop administration, Mac OS X administration and Linux desktop and server administration. I enjoy PHP/MySQL programming and web design. When not working with computers I enjoy listening to and playing music (guitar, bass, and drums) and photography. I have worked on a casual basis as a sound and lighting technician and as an outdoor adventure activities facilitator.

Software Testing Analyst (Temporary)
- Execute prescribed tests against a variety of Rosetta Stone applications on a range of hardware and operating systems.
- Reproduce, document and report any bugs found to the appropriate software development teams for review.

- The Youth Service Corps is a preemployment course funded by New Zealand's Ministry of Youth Development.
- The course aims to give important skills to young people, to enable them to get themselves into employment.
- Work is focused in 4 main areas: Skill (Te Ao Maori, the language and culture of the native people of New Zealand), Expedition (A 3 day tramp/hike, and a night alone in the bush), Community Service (Ranged from graffiti paint-out for Hutt City Council, to grounds maintenance, to teaching Primary/Elementary school children to play various sports), and Recreation (A 5 month gym membership). Also involves various other activities to improve self-confidence and to help with team-building.
- Supervising involved taking part as normal, with added responsibilities. These included taking daily attendance records (used for paying a travel allowance), teaching the class where requested, leading class activities, etc.
